So I finally got around to trying this set up out to make digital copies of a 20 year old set of slides. I used a Nikon N80 with a Nikkor 75-300 f/5.6 AF lens with Fujichrome Provia RDP III 100F

This is a quick and dirty test with a D70s to see how they would turn out. Obviously they're partially cropped due to the DX sensor and my set up. Overall I'm pretty satisfied and with an FX format which should be coming soon they should be better.

This was from a trip to the Everglades while visiting my parents back in March of 2002. images are unprocessed but I did set the D70s to Vivid color mode. I have many slides like these on Fuji Velvia 50 that I can't wait to try.

It was easy because the focus confirmation light still works even with this old DSLR.

I have used the same setup, plus an extension to make the aps-c camera work. I cant remember what extra extension i had to use tho. I will have to dig around.

Edit. Its a k5 tube inbetween the lens and es-1
