Hi again. I am going to be purchasing an F2s, and have a question about the dp2 finder.

I am wondering how accurately the meter reflects the actual exposure.

The needle on my Nikkormat shows if the actual exposure lies between the marked speeds. So if the correct exposure is between the shutter speeds of say 1/250 and 1/500, will the dp2 show this?

Strange that Nikon doesn't tell us about the DP-2 or the Nikon F3. However, they do tell us about the DP-3, DP-12 and the Nikon FM. When the 0 light up alone on these cameras it's within +/- 1/5 stop. In the service manual for the F3 when both the + and - are on the exposure is within 1/5 stop also but they only specified in the service manual not user manual. If you can find the service manual for the DP-2 perhaps they would tell you.
