Nikon D3300 Question

One of my 18-55 Nikon kit lenses is the AF-P. It seems to work properly on my D3300. I read recently that cameras from the D3400 on will work with AF-P lenses but that the D3300 needs a software update to work properly with them. How can I tell whether my D3300 was updated? I bought it used.

The latest firmware is version 1.02.
