Greetings APUGers. Here we have the last of my Nikon RF equipment. It is a a lovely Nikon rangefinder 10.5cm (105mm) f/2.5 lens for Nikon and Contax mount. Includes correct dedicated finder. Glass is clean and clear with exception of tiny fungus on edge. See photo. Focus is smooth, aperture is smooth. Includes proper 10.5cm bullet finder. Knurling on finder looks distorted in photo but is in fact perfect. Includes dedicated hood that shows much more wear than lens body. Contax body is not included of course! $260 plus actual shipping from the northeastern US. Enjoy!!

So is it actually for Contax?- I have heard that the Contax mount have a C somewhere on the body of the lens

Looks great. I thought that Nikon lenses over 50mm wouldn't focus properly on a Contax body due to some lens calibration issues. Does this lens focus properly on Contax?

Yes, I previously owned this lens in the Contax version. The letter C was engraved on the black portion of the barrel and clearly marked I white.

Nikon made a Contax version of the 85 mm F2 and it had a 'C' engraved on the lower part of the barrel - I used to own one. I am not sure if the 105 mm Nikon had a Contax version or not. The price on this is excellent however and the seller is a very reliable member.
