MANUAL INSTRUCTIONS ARE SIMPLE ENOUGH TO ENGAGE AND DISENGAGE THIS FUNCTION, BUT IT'S NOT RESETTING. PERHAPS THE 2 SECOND DELAY IS SOP FOR THE SLOWER MOVING FLORIDA ENVIRONMENT, BUT THERE MIGHT BE A FEW FASTER MOVING OBJECTS OUT THERE SO ANY ASSISTANCE WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Not sure I understand your issue. Are you trying to set the delay to 'less ' than 2 seconds? On mine the delay is limited to between 2 and 30 seconds only. Or are you having some other issue?

Sounds like the self-timer button might be jammed, wedged or stuck in the down position. If not that sounds more serious, electronically.

Not only the self timer button jammed but also his caps lock too.
