I don't have photos yet but do have a 400mm f/2.8 Ais ED which is looking for a new home. Glass is excellent except for some dust which will have no appreciable affect on your image. Focus smooth and accurate, aperture clicks nicely. Lens barrel is in great shape, some normal light wear but overall looks excellent. Comes with hood, caps and original hard case.

bump, I don't think my price is unfair considering the last one, albeit in mint condition went for considerably. It's a rather rare lens for obvious reasons...

You'd think people would realize that any lens with 'ED' in its name would be hard to keep up!

Although I really don't need this...the wildlife in Australia is slow and not at all dangerous...I can say that the IQ from these are amazing...and $1900...they cost as much as a small car when new!
