I've been of the good fortune to have acquired a Nikon Coolscan 4000 with the SA-30 attachment for scanning 35mm film in the recent weeks. I've been scanning film all morning and after chewing through my 8th roll, I'm starting to think I should just shoot all 35mm!
Now, there's nothing better to me than a 6x9 E-6 slide, but man it's going to be hard to not shoot 35mm with such a easy scanning rig!
I have a 4000 with all accessories and attachments and agree it's a great machine, but it my 9000 that's killing my LF craving. One look at a good MF scan on the 9000 at full size and res and its "...whoa...."
