After much soul searching, I've decided that (at least until my next buying spree ) I'm keeping my Nikon manual focus equipment, but going to Canon for autofocus. (Not a value judgment, but because I've got access to new Canon equipment at work.)
So, I'm getting rid of my base set of Nikon AF lenses, as well as of my Nikon digital SLR.
Everything in this listing is:
I prefer Paypal, but don't really mind waiting on a money order to get here if you prefer. I ship to North America only.
To keep things simple, I'm offering free shipping and fees in the U.S.; shipping to Canada would be $10-$15 more, I imagine (except for the big kit, which is probably $25-$30 more).
I'm much more inclined to sell to APUG members that I've seen around the forums than to people who sign up just to buy. For what it's worth, my auction site feedback is 100 percent positive. My id on the massive auction site is: classicphotographydude. Please let me know if you have any questions.

3. Nikon Nikkor AF 85mm f/1.8
Price: $350 plus free shipping in U.S.
This is the one so many folks are after after, especially since the affordable Nikon full frame digitals arrived. Includes hood, caps as shown. No box, because I never thought I'd sell it. Bought new by me around 2003 or so.

4. Tamron AF 90mm MACRO Nikon mount - Made in Japan
Price: $300 plus free shipping
You'll have to read some reviews about the Tamron lenses from this era to get an idea of the excellent build quality. Metal mounts, screws, all the old-school traits. The optics don't disappoint either. Like other macro (micro) lenses, it can tend to search a lot on unlimited auto-focus, but I used it for macro work, so not an issue. Bought new by me around 2000 for some very specialized work, but kept around because I liked it. Includes, hood, caps, padded bag.

Fits the 50mm standard lens.

7. Nikon SB-400 Flash
Price: $80 plus free shipping
Not a big fan of shoe-mounted flash, but bought this little unit to photograph a book signing where I need just a touch more pop in a big space. Worked OK for the purpose, with Publishers Weekly using a photo (the girl playing guitar):

Virtually new. Comes with everything. Has 'flashed" perhaps 100 or fewer times.
