I have a nice Nikkor 28mm f2.8 AIS
The focus ring is smooth until the last 3-4mm to infinity then it is hard to turn.
It will go to infinity but only with considerable pressure.
Any idea what the issue is? Does this lens have close-focus correction? When does it engage/disengage?
