Nikkor-W 135mm f/5.6 Filter HELLP

I have a Nikkor-W 135mm f/5.6 lens for the 5"x4" camera format. S/N 712227.
The filter screw on the front appears to be an odd size - a 52mm centre-pinch style lens cap fits OK but a 52mm filter is too big and a 49mm filter is too small. I need a step ring adapter so that I can fit a standard size filter on the lens. I also need a push-on lens caps for the rear glass and I need a mounting ring (flange? retaining ring? retaining nut? - the ring with two slots in it used to fasten the elns to its mounting board).

I've left an enquiry with B&H but they haven't got back to me yet. Is anyone in this forum able to offer some guidance?

This lens really should accept a 52 mm filter (mine does). Are there any signs of damage? Does a 52 mm filter seem MUCH too big or does it only just not fit? The lens mounting ring should be the same as for any #0 shutter, a 42 mm push-on lens cap is not hard to find. Is this an expensive lens or a bargain? If the latter, supergluing a 55 to 49 mm stepping ring onto the lens mount would solve the problem (55 instead of 52 to avoid any risk of vignetting).

Apologies guys. There was a little bit of burring at the start of the thread which made me think that 52mm does not fit -- but it does.
A standard Copal #0 retaining ring shouldn't be hard to find.

Oh, great. That will go well with my metric retaining ring spanner.
I have a set of needle files which seem to have done the trick - just in time as on Sunday morning I am off to Tasmania for two weeks. On Monday night I plan to be photographing a magnificent sunset.
