Selling off my 4x5 outfit. (See my Wista ad.)

Nikkor T*ED 500mm f11 in a Copal 1. Lens is in excellent condition, glass clear, shutter functions perfectly. By buying different rear elements, the Nikkor T*ED is convertable from 360mm to 500mm to 720mm. This example has the 500mm rear element. Kerry Thalman has identified this lens as a modern classic. Because it is a telephoto design, it only takes 300mm or so of bellows extension at infinity.

This is a very hard to find lens.

Asking $600 plus shipping without the lens board. Add $15 for the board.

Thanks, Brian

Is the coverage limited to 4x5 only or is there enough for 5x7.

Mike

From what I've found on the web, it has a 24 degree angle of coverage with an image circle of 210mm and it says the maximum recommended format is 5x7.
