Nikkor AF-S 28-70mm 1:2.8 lens repair

Can anyone recommend someone who can repair this lens? The autofocus gets stuck, which I understand is a common problem with this lens. Precision referred this to Nikon; neither can repair it. I've read that parts availability is a problem. It's used on an F6.

You could try Camera Service Pro. They'll work on items that Nikon no longer repairs.

APS (Authorized Photo Service), Morton Grove, IL has repaired the lens.

If Nikon USA doesn't have parts, I would check with the former authorized service centers, or look overseas. Nikon USA West facility is closed due to Covid 19. Problem with the older lenses with motors and gizmos is no parts. I had one of those lenses, it would squeak, drove me crazy.
