Nikkor 50mm f1.4 non AI lenses

Anyone know the difference between a Nikkor non AI 50mm f1.4 S and the same lens in SC

Well....what's the answer?! I have a 50mm 1.8 and was looking to get a 1.4 in non-ai so it will match my F2.

The "C" indicates multi-coated, as opposed to single coated

yup the S stands for 7 elements, all lenses were sigle coated, the c meant that it was multi coated, hence the magenta cast in the s and the green cast in the sc
