nikkor 135mm f3.5 in mystery mount?

Hi guys! Hope you could help me out.
I have a vintage Nikkor Q.C. 135mm f3.5 in a mount I am not familiar with.

Looks like an Exacta but I dont have one to rty it out. And it looks too small for exacta.

Any ideas?

Yes, but according to this: http://www.graphics.cornell.edu/~westin/misc/mounts-by-register.html
the diameter of the opening is 46mm, and you can see in the 4th image that the diameter is closer to 35mm.

Could it be an Alpa? I think it is a SLR mount because I dont see any rangefinder coupling.. But I dont know if the timing is correct for that type on lens on an alpa.

I'd try to put the lens on a bellows with a ground glass back and try to measure the register length when the lens focuses to infinity. That will help figure it out.

My guess would be Kodak Retina reflex maybe?

It is an Exakta mount.

The page with list is wrong. I have an Exakta macro tube on my desk and the diameter is 36 mm, not 46 mm.

Ah ha! It appears the mystery is solved. I did not know Nikon made this lens in other mounts. Or perhaps it was a custom made?

I can assure you that this is the first Nikon lens with Exakta mount that I've ever seen.

The Exakta lens list document tells me that this and a f/4,0 version are the only Nikkor lenses ever with Exakta mount. Apparently from '50s.
