Night city buildings - Provia or color neg film?

I haven't shot much of Provia. Under twilight or blue sky would you use Provia or would you go with color neg film for the much more dynamic range? I know at this time of the day isn't ideal with slide film.

Opinions appreciated.

Hi Ray, I've done a lot of Street photography at night. The basic risk is the extreme contrast that one can encounter in those environments.
Whilst e6 can handle this better than print film, Slide film requires an accuracy of a 1/2 stop. So I would recommend Fugi pro 400 H Fugi colours are the most natural. Manufactured in all formats.

Back in the days where print film was not so good, slide film was successfully used for every kind of images. You can use slide if you bracket. Also perhaps you would like to try the same shot under a 80A or B or C filter as well.

Nowadays print film is fantastic quality so it is also a good option.
