NIEPCE TO DAGUERRE PRACTICAL WORKSHOP WITH DAVID BURDER
Just a reminder that we have an opportunity this month to see the world's most successful worker in 'alternative processes' in action.
David Burder BSc, FRPS, FBIPP, is expert in 3D electron microscopy and practically every form of 3D photography. He is prominent in the world of modern Daguerreotypes even having made the world's largest Daguerreotype.
Some will remember David Burder's spectacular emulation of Levi Hill's 1850s Hillotype colour photography process at our conference at Oxford University on the History of the Science of Photography.
David has applied his expertise to 'the first photograph' and the processes it led to up to including the Daguerreotype. He will be giving a two day practical course on these processes at Hands-On pictures on 21/21 September, see http://www.hands-on-pictures.com/page8/page15/page15.html
Those with enquiring minds will find this workshop very stimulating.
The workshop is limited to five people.
