Nice one Ilford

this is an unashamed plug for those nice ladies and gents at Ilford.

I had a box of MGFB warmtone with some defects showing after processing. I sent in samples and within a week I was informed that they couldn't exactly pinpoint the cause. Despite this, within 2 days of letting me know, replacement paper (plus some extra in compensation) was in my hand.

This kind of customer service is quite rare these days so thanks for keeping up the good standards Ilford.

please take care with such a razor-sharp wit Simon - any more and I fear my sides will split.

I had similar treatment after what was a very minor hiccup in sending me samples of RC paper after our visit in 2006 as I wasn't a FB user. Nothing was too much trouble.

Not content with that Ilford now are giving away 20 sheets free under the "Back to School" offer.
