Those contemplating a move to LF may be interested in a new free module on www.rogerandfrances.com which illustrates loading sheet film into holders with step-by-step pictures. Also covers distinguishing exposed from unexposed films, film notching and holder notching. Linhof holders as well as the conventional type are illustrated.
All right, none of it is rocket science, and it's all dead obvious once you've done it. But I can remember being a beginner...
Go to the site; click on 'Photo School'; then on 'How Do I...? and you'll see it. Sorry I can't provide a direct link but I don't know how!
Very good. This is much better than trying to read a description as I had to do. I'd only add that you should plan to waste a few sheets by practicing in the light. Mess up a few sheets intentionally, and you'll mess up very few accidentally.

Good stuff, Roger. I learned a few things I didn't know. Thanks!
Loading sheet film seems almost impossible at first. A few months later, you wonder why you ever had a problem.
I second the recommendation to practice with a scratch sheet of film, first with eyes open (so you can see the way it's supposed to load), then with eyes closed.
