Its actually embarrassing what Im about to ask.
I have shot film for a while , but it has always been color.
I have recently just shot my first roll of black and white illford pan f 50 film. Its 120 mf btw.
When I got it back from the lab its reversed whats black is white and white is black.

I scanned it in my computer using the espon v700 and have aperture as my editing program.
My question is how do I turn it to an actual black and white image.

Thanks

It sounds like you selected the wrong media type in the scanning parameters. In Epson Scan, the Document Type should be set to "film." You can scan as a positive and then reverse the negative scanned image, but if you are just learning to scan I'd suggest starting simply. You can also have B&W films processed as high-quality positives; that's another story dr5 CHROME - Black and White slide - transparency process + THE ONLY AGFA SCALA PROCESSING WORLDWIDE
