working through making the formulas on UnblinkingEye from Liam Lawless
keeping the Salts and the Silver separated until you are ready to coat
there is a recipe for a hard and a soft negative...
have done the coating with the hard and will see the results hopefully today; sun permitting
gives the ability to reheat the gelatin a number of times without increasing fog; then you combine the salts and silver in small amounts (by the ML) and the finals like photoflow; alcohol; glyoxol by drops
very comprehensive article but is missing a few details like proper heating
will certainly share some results shortly!!

Hi Peter,
That's a shame. It was an intriguing idea. What are you up to now?

Hi Denise I'm still plugging along with making POP EMULSIONS. I recently made an emulsion and it seems like what I got was fog on the print. I was using the magnetic stirrer at what in now believe to be a too high rotation. .about 1000 rpm previously I was always stirring by hand with no problem. Smso after addition of the silver nitrate and citric I stir for 10 minutes
This time with the machine any advice on this??

I've only stirred the silver nitrate and citric acid together immediately before stirring them into the emulsion by hand, maybe for as much as a minute and then coat, so I haven't any sage or even unsage advice. Fog is the bugaboo with P.O.P. If I start making POP again, I think I'll research fog prevention additions and techniques.
