Hey everyone! I've lurked for a little but finally started posting now that I have access to a darkroom again.
I got a degree in photography years ago and ended up working professionally, although part time, doing weddings, freelance work, and contract sports photography. I stopped working professionally when freelance work dried up, pay for sports wasn't keeping up with gas prices and tolls for travel, and I got burned out on weddings. I sold the bulk of my pro 35mm (Canon digital bodies and L series glass) years ago to pay off business related debt which is regrettable but needed to happen.
Right now, I am more interested in working with 35mm and medium format film, and doing work for myself, being I can make it to a darkroom. I wouldn't mind working professionally again some day but if it doesn't happen, I am ok with it. I already have some landscape projects I want to do around the city once I get developing and printing (and re-mastering the zone system for that matter) down pat again.
