Free is one of my favourite prices - probably my most favourite.

A couple of months ago I was given a Ricoh KR-10x (is that the Ken Rockwell model?!!) which we had at work but had never been used. Someone also gave me a Pentax 50mm f1.7 lens so now I have an excuse, I mean reason to buy some more K mount lenses as the rest of my Pentax lenses are M42.

Back in the day, Miranda was marketed by Ilford (at least in Europe).

AFAIK its main weakness was that its "original" lenses were mostly Soligors.

If there are deep scratches or gouges in the front lens element, filling them with black paint can make the lens usable or even as good as pristine (apart from an insignificant loss of speed, depending on the amount of scratched surface).
