New to me old projector Leitz CA2500

How does it work? I powered it up and the light works. The slide mechanism opened and closed and has stayed that way. I don't have a tray yet for it, and I don't have the manual. I would appreciate any help I can get. I want to make sure that it is properly operational. Anyone with a manual or personal experience with it? Thanks Norm

I have a CA 1500, but haven't used it in about six months. From what I recall most of the controls are on the wired remote. It has an auto timer from like 1-30 seconds you can adjust somewhere toward the front. If that is set to 30 seconds, it may appear that it is not doing anything.
