I was looking around in some boxes I hadn't unpacked since our last move. I found a beautiful Certo Certix 6x9, circa 1934, in one of the boxes. Complete with original leather case and carrying strap. I then remembered that my brother-in-law had given it to me as a Christmas present many years ago. I wasn't using MF at the time so it got put aside and eventually forgotten. The lens is clear, the bellows good, the Prontor shutter crisp and it takes 120 film. It's like Christmas all over again. I'm going to load it up and take some shots tomorrow.
You are so lucky to have that. I so wished I had the old Graflex XL the guy who tried to teach me photography had before he died a couple of years ago. I loved that camera 30+ years ago and instantly salivate at the sight of one now.
And I agree. I am interested when you get that thing out if it still works. Amazing find!! Merry Christmas!!
