Yes, but you'll have a lot less shadow speed than with Kodak XTOL, Ilford Microphen, or Ilford DD-X. More grain, too. Depends on what look you want.

"a lot less shadow speed"

How much is "a lot"? Haven't observed much difference.

Grain - yes. I have switched from Xtol mostly because of grainless, digital look.

Yes I did noticed it had a look to it that seemed to lack shadow detail, I'm going to purchase some Xtol as Microphen is just too expensive its nearly £5 a litre and you can only use the stock solution once and that's 400ml a film.

"Yes I did noticed it had a look to it that seemed to lack shadow detail"

This is the way I like to print ;-) It has more detail on the negative.

This picture is aright, but I don't think I will be using at combo again to push, unless I want a certain look, on some of the other picturess the highlights are blown out and I find the shadow detail is a bit lacking, I'm going to order some Xtol.

Your picture seems v.good to me for a +2 push in contrasty light... I wouldn't expect too much from xtol - been there, done that ;-)
