I released a new set of profiling tools a few weeks ago that are similar to my QuickCurve-DN system for K3 printers. This new system uses a set of customized K3 curves and then builds the common toning curves with a single button. There are more controls for editing the toning inks, and all the .quad curves and linearization steps are done in a single place without needing to use the ink descriptor files or traditional linearization steps. There are a few more things I plan on adding as updates early next year, but it is already off to a good solid start.
I've also been doing some youtube live screencasts and did one demonstrating how the system works, along with using PrintTool, SpyderPrint for measuring, and how to use the new Data Tool Roy recently released.
Here is a post with more information and the hour long video I made of the who profiling process (there is a bit in there where i1 Profiler was acting up and where I switched to using the spyderprint as a backup).
