I've asked for a little usability testing from the forum in the past so it's only fair that I show what I've been working on now that I think it's finished.

This is my portfolio site that has been needing an update and I decided to put it at the top of list of creative goals for 2008. You'll see mostly Design and Illustration but I do have one section for photos (I like to stay rounded in my creative activities).

Feel free to kick it around a bit...

Very nice design.
Clean and simple, so you can better enjoy the work.
I love your paintings.

javascript trouble?

Like the site design- clean and easy to navigate. Not sure if it is my PC but having trouble with javascript on some of the galleries.

Works fine in Design/Web and Painting galleries but on all the others the initial page load pops up the illustration/photo at the top left, but clicking on any of the other thumbnails blanks out the larger image and nothing displays.

Using a Windows XP SP2 PC. IE 6 SP2 with javascript enabled.

It could be my PC but clicking on the thumbnails on the 2 galleries noted above works properly and brings up the clicked thumbnail in a larger version on the right side of screen.

Since Martin mentioned it, it works fine on my Firefox 2.0.0.11 on Ubuntu 7.10 Linux.

Martin,

Thanks for the heads up. I think I had IE 6 and higher covered but it's very possible that I missed something.

Anyone else running XP and IE 6?

I loaded Firefox 2.0.0.11

Martin,

Thanks for the heads up. I think I had IE 6 and higher covered but it's very possible that I missed something.

Anyone else running XP and IE 6?

Just tried with the latest Firefox on the same PC - the javascript is working correctly with Firefox and pictures display. Since there is lot of XP/IE6 out there, feedback from others with same combination would be useful. Hope this helps.
