I was wondering if anybody has used this new head from Quantum for IR photography yet?
I bought it for my T4 and am anxious to use it.
I want to load my Nikon F3 with Kodak HIE and do a test shot in total darkness to see the range. Did that long ago for my old Mecablitz flash head and was impressed. I did it at night in total darkness with a gel over the flash. I could still make out things about 30 feet away.
This new head allows a 67mm filter to be screwed into it to give off either IR or UV (depending on the filter) light.
