Hello everyone, I want to introduce myself as a person with a life long love of photography/imaging. I have also had a keen interest in the history of photography and it's relationship to the history of our world.
After many years of want, I was able to finally obtain my first SLR - a Pentax K1000, in February of 1981. After some testing I began using that camera again about two weeks ago. I began using my Yashica May 124G TLR as well. I searched many a forum over the past few weeks and this forum provided me with so much of what I was looking for, especially as it pertains to analog photography today.
Presently , there is palpable excitement getting back to one of the most satisfying of endeavors. I am looking forward to learning from a community of knowledgeable people this high art of chasing light and those new to the art as well.
