Maybe, as Tim Rudman talks about testing some in his end of the year email.

Don't think I am spreading rumors as I don't believe he would discuss this in that message if it wasn't true. That is not his style.

Yes his review was fairly positive and I inferred that other printers to whom it has been farmed out for testing have been similarly impressed as well.

I think as I think you do that it is likely to be more than a "maybe" and is probably a done deal and I expect to see it on the market by Spring or just after. I suspect that as heavyweight fine art paper it will not be cheap but can only assume that Ilford feel that the market will support it in sufficient volumes to make it viable.

He, Tim , talks a bit about the lith possiblities, especially with re-bleaching, but it seems to be limited when it comes to infecious development.

Rob Skeoch used a new Ilford FB paper for his postcards in the current APUG postcard exchange. Ilford apparently said okay.

It is heavy, and it has a very nice texture. The image colour is warm "rich". Not surprisingly, Rob made very good use of it in the cards he sent. Mine arrived today .

You can consider this a plug for the Postcard Exchange and Rob (BigCameraWorkshops - an APUG sponsor based in Canada)
