Are the low and high prices from eBay only? (I picked up my GA645 for US$225, but not on eBay.)

the prices are from ebay and dealers...like I wrote - if you are patient - somethimes these fine cameras sell for really short $$...

I wouldn't say the 645 folder frequently needs repairs. Once the bellows have been replaced they are good for a long time. And if it is treated with care the shutter should be OK for 2-5 years or longer even with heavy use.

The only thing wrong with mine is the flash bracket doesn't work. The pc connector does though.

You should mention that the lens hood/filter holder is about $100 at the top end and rare.
