I just got through installing a new light table in my darkroom, from Home Depot!

Its a surface mount fixture so all I had to cut out of the work table was a hole for wiring and a cutout for the light switch. Wiring was simple, running the black wire through the switch and wire nuts on the rest. You need to use a grounded cord, I sacrificed an old power strip to get mine.

I purchased one of these but it has some strange dotter pattern sticker on on the back - I don't know why. Is the wish one a clear one?

Not sure what you mean by the dotter pattern but it's basically an array of leds without much diffusion, which is why I simply added a diffuser to make it work for me.

I bought one of those "artist pads", They are Not Like the pictures and I found it unusable. The Home Depot lights should be about the same price by now. Almost too much power for the darkroom so I put a dimmer on mine. I left mine portable. I attached the dimmer to the back.
