I received a beautiful new Nokton 50/1.1 in Friday's mail from Stephen G. It is now on my M2, I should have a roll run through it tomorrow and hopefully can post some results. ( I am working all weekend, so haven't had a chance to get out and use it.

Good luck with your lens. I got a lens for RB 67 not long ago, a used 90C. So far a great lens.

Great job, I envy your skill, I have difficulty sewing a button on.

Don't laugh. I have to use a very sharp awl to pierce the leather for each stitch. My fingertips are sore from being poked.

I am enjoying it. I have to get used to focusing in low light situations. This shot of a pool player in a dimly lit bar shows that I need to be more careful how I focus, but in general I am quite happy with this lens. The case making is fun too. It is relaxing, though the hand stitching can be tedious at times.

That's a nice shot, great tones. Is that wide open and what kind of film?

Thank you. Yes, it was wide open, can't remember but I think the shutter speed was around 1/30 hand held. I used Arista Premium 400 film at box speed developed in Rodinal 1:25.
