The only lenses on my christmas list are really strange ones that I do not need but have lusted over for as long as I can remember but have never ever found a rationalization (and I am the king of rationalization) to actually buy them.

1) Zeiss 250 SA in hasselblad mount.
2) Leica Noctilux - any version but whatever the latest at the time was/is would be fine.
3)...

I have a couple of categories of this stuff - stuff I lust over but really don't have a use for. Like one of those unbelievably cool broncolor para FB umbrellas - the biggest one of the three they make. Now that would be a cool conversation piece laying around my studio.

I think I wrote an article on gear lust objects for christmas way back - if I actually needed it I already have it. So Christmas time is time for gear lust objects that you DON'T need. See, I am the king of rationalization.
