New lens on the way! Nikkormat 50mm 1.8 AIS Pancake from Japan

Oh for anyone who cares, the lens was in in excellent shape with the exception of some very tiny marks on the very edge of the metal rim where it might have rubbed on something. You had to closely inspect the lens to see it. Nothing to affect the performance was found. All aperture stops are crisp and the focusing ring is like butter. Took it out yesterday and am awaiting the lab to finish dev.

I would love to see the results! I just ordered this lens last night to go with a Nikon FM I picked up for cheap.

That lens might produce great results, but it's no pancake. Here's a REAL pancake -- the Minolta Auto-Rokkor (even though it's only inscribed "ROKKOR") 45mm f2.8:

I'm STILL waiting on the lab! I finally got all the bits and bobs to develop my own negatives so hopefully my next rolls will be faster. As soon as the shots come in, I'll update here.

Very nice. Nice to find out there are still 35mm cameras/lenses out there I have never seen.
