Hi, My name is Gert Jan. I was born in the Netherlands and came to the USA (legally) in 2018. I started collecting cameras and try to restore or repair them, I am not selling any camera. I have got some nice Yashica's SLR, TLR and some viewfinders.
Resently I got a FX-3 super 2000. THe camera works perfectly without lens. As soon as I put a Yashica lens ML 50 mm 1:1.9 on it works only for a distance till 1 meter, over 1 meter focusing the back part of the lens blocks the mirror to come down again and the rim of the back part rests against the body of the camera. The same problem with the YUS 135 mm automatic. I do not know if this forum is the right place to place something like this but Does anybody know anything concerning this??
Any advice is most welcome.
