I just found out that THE FILM PHOTOGRAPHY PROJECT now carries a new & improved Minolta 16 cassette. They state that the plastic is more opaque. They still don't have any flocking on the opening for the film, so they must be loaded & unloaded (in the camera) in the dark. You can always glue some "felt" of some type to accomplish this yourself.
These can be used in all Minolta 16mm still cameras, and several others like the Yashica, Glico, Olympus, Sonocon & Zunow cameras that use Minolta cassettes. The EARLY Kiev 16mm cameras can also use them.
THE FILM PHOTOGRAPHY PROJECT also carries some interesting rolls of film for Minolta & other 16mm cameras.
I'm all set for film and cassette, but some might find this helpful.
