New Impossible 8x10 B&W film

Hi guys!

I am not at all good at chemistry, so i don't really get it:

Is the new Impossible 8x10 B&W just a reboxed film or is it really different from the PQ Silver Shade film that Impossible sold before?

Both are integral film, monochrom (silver shade might change colors over time)...what's different?

it is same film reboxed, but they are constantly improving films, so every new production is little better in stability, contrast, sharpness... This 8x10 is last and best version of the same film.

From impossible:

Late last year, we introduced an all-new B&W integral instant film based on a new formula developed by Impossible's R&D team based in Monheim, Germany. No longer reliant on out-sourced materials, it represented a clear advance on all previous Impossible B&W films, with much-improved tonal range, contrast, sharpness and stability.

Now, after several months of testing and refinement, we are now proud to introduce the all-new large-format version of the film to our European customers.

Impossible B&W 8 x 10 replaces our previous PQ 8 x 10 film and it is easily identified by its simple but elegant, light-proof, black box with clear black and silver labelling. But there is a lot more to this film than new packaging.

Thanks! I was able to try the film last weekend. Sharpness and contrast are really nice (peeled) but i had 2 exposures that came out massively underexposed...even if i was using the exact same settings and lighting the frame before. Dunno why but it seemed like the sensitivity of those 2 frames was just way below the other 8 frames...

It is worth a try to make photos of those 2 frames and send it to impossible. Maybe they can double check if something is wrong with the film...
