You are not wrong at all; Fuji chromogenic b&w film has been produced in Mobberley.

Yes for people of a certain age like you and me it shows that Christmas is the same all over the world. Well at least across the North Sea it's the same

Ilford seem to be making a big deal out of their 140 year anniversary with the silver ticket promotion, perhaps a re-release of an old emulsion ? Original HP ?
Otherwise an improved Delta 400 or higher speed XP would be welcome by me.

Final left field suggestion - Ilford have prior of working with Fujifilm. If Ilford have a hand in Acros II, it could be Ilford's version of that ?

If Ilford works with Fujifilm then if it produces an Ilford version of Acros II, won't Fuji then say that with friends like Ilford who needs enemies

I hear it is a special 120 film for the Canadian market You can use it outdoors and then when you're "Out of the night which was fifty below" and into the Malamute saloon there is none of the dreaded condensation and long threads on backing paper issues. I expect a pic in your gallery soon of Dan at the table calling a "spread misere"

If Ilford make Across II for Fuji, then Fuji could make Ilford Reala II, giving Ilford a high-quality colour C41 film.
Then they both could collaborate on a transparency film and call it Ilfochrome 64.
(this is only page 5 of speculation and we have plenty of time before we reach - take your pick- Murphy's law, Godwin's law or Poe's Law)

Has anyone considered an HIE replacement? There really isn't anything like that on the market and I would think that might appeal to a younger market. A look you just can't get on a cell phone.

This is what I would like to see. I was a heavy user of HIE at one time. I was talking to the guy in the local camera shop, and he speculates that it's either going to be something like XP2 (I hope not!!!), or an enhanced SFX with more infrared sensitivity. One thing is for sure... Ilford is drumming up a lot hype. I hope they don't let us down.

Pre-paid processing mailers, develop and print 3 1/2 × 5 with 3/16th inch borders with deckle edge, glossy. Two first class stamps to mail. Appropriate sizes for 120.

It's "naked film". Takes microwave energy floating around from cell phone transmitters, antennas, etc., and reorganizes it using metallic and dielectric molecular structures utilized as nano lenses to effectively see through clothes. /s

My reckoning is it's a new/ revised film in 135/120, possibly a new paper (I just saw something about a new RC revision into MGVRC) and another product - possibly chemical or camera related?
