Figured I'd post here since this news applies to a bunch of equipmet that uses two 625 batterys.

Not sure if anbody has seen this recently, Gosse released (rereleased?) a new battery adapter for their Lunasix lightmeters that use two 625 batterys, allowing you to use SR43 batterys

You can buy it on their website for €30 here:

Sweet! Gossen serviced my Luna Pro some years ago and the battery adapter was an additional $75 IIRC, so this is great news. It’s my favorite meter.

Great news. Gossen is quite progressive in an exceptionally retro sort of way!

And at a very fair price. Two MR-9 converters would be more useful but a bit more expensive.

I haven’t checked if the shipping cost is reasonable.

And if anybody is interested, SilverGrain Classics did a quick test of the adapter on their instagram. They do say it does have the Schottky Diode to reduce the voltage:

I sprung for 2 adapters from criscam a couple years ago and have been quite satisfied with them. I use them in my Lunasix and move them to my old Minolta SRTs when needed. I’d go for the new one from Gossen just for the convenience.

I checked their website and it looks like they don't sell outside the EU. No option for sales to US in checkout.
Anyone know where I can get one of these Gossen adapters as I have an old Luna Pro that needs to be exercised.

I can sell you mine. I bought it for a Konica T4, but unfortunately the battery cap will not screw on when the adapter is installed.
