Actually its already out here in Japan. I just picked up a box of 20 rolls in 120 this afternoon. With the cherry blossoms blooming here now, tomorrow I am going to take the RZ67 out with three films back loaded with roll of the new 50, the old 50 and the Velvia 100 and take a roll of each, with identical shots on each roll and take a look at the results. Should be fun.
I will post the results as soon as I get it developed.

I never got to try Velvia in 35mm, so I'm interested in how this works out. Dead Link Removed has new Velvia50 in stock for everything but 35mm too - I don't work for them, honest, but they seem to have a lot of stuff I want to buy.

Just like with 400x in 35mm - Fujifilm is apparently rolling out the new formulas slowly so as to manage existing "in stock" older products. Presumably to protect their retailers.
Which is a good thing.
But with "THE WEB" - news gets out globally so quickly that everyone now is waiting for the local release!
