I heard on the news in Germany that France passed a law on Oct 012017 that all digitally modified images need to be labeled as 'photographic retouched from now on.Dos anyone have more details?
It will be interesting the see the definition of "digitally modified". Exposure? Contrast? Color temperature?
Note it says: "As of October 1, "it will be mandatory to use the label ‘retouched photo’ alongside any photo used for commercial purposes when the body of a model has been modified by an image-editing software to either slim or flesh out her figure”" so it only applies to the modification of the body of a model.

guess this would have to be labelled ?
i wonder if film photographers retouched as they have since photography was born,
if theywould have to label their photographs the same way ?
