I have added a few more display options to the forums. To list all options click the "View all display options" link near the top right of the forum index page (see screen shot).
Some people might like the new options so can bookmark the display options page, and use that page as their starting point.
Added functionality:
view all topics for the day
view all posts (time can be selected)
I've added this because some members would like an alternate view style. It may not be exactly what you are looking for, but may be close enough.
