Dear All,

If you go to www.ilfordphoto.com then to the pressroom you will see a press release that may be of interest to the APUG community.

I am sure one of the more technically able APUGGERS will be able to provide a direct link...I am, as you probably know, rather analog......

Dear All,

We are working on it now.....its much too early to give a release date as we need to incorporate the feedback from the market into the final version(s) of the product, then it will need to go to field trial, be sure I will keep you all updated.

Regards Simon ILFORD Photo / HARMAN technology Limited :

That's great news. I don't do lith, but it's excellent to see Ilford coming out with this kind of product.

great news!

Lith is something I've been wanting to try for years and perhaps when this paper is released I'll make that my excuse to dive into it.

I wanted to try bromoil, and in lack of chemistry in local shops - I took easy lith from moersch. It is beauty - easy, and prints from foma papers are just terrific, classic MG, and all other one.. I really enjoy.

And one more think - if your photo is little out of focus, or blurry - in lith it can be still usable and good

This is a completely brand new emulsion and it will be an ILFORD branded product :

I do not know whether it will be available in rolls as yet :

I suspect you might not have any problem getting a few people around here to help with testing......like me I've been lamenting the demise of Kentmere Warm VC and Forte polywarmtone......having a new paper to help replace those is really exciting. Go Ilford!

Good news, i don't do lith but have seen a lot of nice work here on APUG so this may just be the oportunity to give it a try.

I have to ask a stupid question that shows my ignorance of lith but can this be used for regular processing?

Great news about the paper! Will you be making lith developer too?

I've always had the (probably silly) feeling that the Ilford Photo range of products, as seriously extensive as they are, had one big hole in it and that's not having a good lith paper. So this is fantastic news in my opinion. I really hope the properties of this new paper meet wide approval inc my own.

Good luck and thanks IP-HT !!

Holler if you want help beta testing. Or "idiot-proof" testing . . .it's my specialty.
