Looking at the recent posts, I was struck by the name of Panatomic-X and what a brilliant bit of marketing this is. If you were going to introduce a new film onto the market, what would you call it to guarantee sales?

For B&W- Silver Bullet- most people spend decades searching for it.
For Color- Chromakode- for those that miss Kodachrome.

Well, if you want to appeal to all the hip young kiddies, how about:
Kodagram
Facechrome
Impossibly Silverchrome Holgography 3000-X (every new digital camera has to have an X in it, so should film I suppose)

I always wondered if someone who put Panatomic in their Nikon Photomic were at danger of radiation poisoning...

At first I thought it would be funny...

Pancreatic - You don't have to love it but you need it.

Then of course an obvious good name...

Pancreative - Unlimited creative possibilities.

But by now it should be obvious... If I were to... It would BE Panatomic-X.

Minor White / Maxor Black

Maybe Dorothea

Or how about Edward?

PanThom as opposed to PhanTom. I'd buy that.
