I posted this last week in the "Lounge", but it's getting hardly any views. So, it's not like I'm the first person to double-post ...
There are a zillion "Meetup" photography groups in North Texas. (Meetup.com) Someone has started one dedicated to film users (the first, one can be sure) and we are meeting in two days for "organizational" purposes. There are 24 people who have already joined this group, and 14 (so far) have RSVP'd in the positive for this first meet up. Five more RSVP'd their regrets.
I have no idea what this means, but I am very curious and I'll get back to you. Back "in the day" (mid-2000's) several of us in the area that met on APUG used to get together fairly regularly, but that has dwindled down to nothing. There is a smaller group of us that meet occasionally through the LF forum, but we haven't gotten together in months. So, I'm a bit intrigued ...
