I stumbled upon the forthcoming release page on Twin Palms publisher, and saw that they are releasing this Fall a book + dvd of Eggleston's Stranded in Canton.

Eggleston's video project was one of the earliest examples of video art (and it was analogue by then!), and that particular piece was only shown occasionally at film festivals.
Which means it's probably dreadful and impossible to watch (cf. the few reviews about it across the intertubes), but it might just be the kind of stuff I tend to fall for...
