HI!

My name is Joe Symchyshyn and I'm located in Windsor Ontario Canada. (Right across the river from Detroit Michican if that helps)

I'm a 100% analog photographer using mostly 4x5 b&w as my tool of choice.

My education was originally in photography and I have worked in 2 professional photofinishing labs. I have run my own small business in photography and have experiences in picture framing.

I've since gone back to school and changed careers but have remained active in photography for the last 10+ years.

I hope to be an active contributor to this site. (I really like what I've seen so far...)

Have a great day everyone,

joe

"and a great Surname too..."

It's pronounced... sim-CHI-shin. My father is from Poland. When my father came to Canada the current spelling was dictated by the customs officer that day... The original spelling is different, but sounds similar when spoken.

Glad to be a part of this community,

joe

Greetings Joe
I'm north by northeast of you up in Brampton (beside Toronto). I think you'll
like it here, lots of good people with humour... and perhaps some advice thrown in for good measure

Hi Joe, and welcome.
Always nice to have another Cdn. in the group. I used to travel through Windsor often when visiting family in Detroit.

Welcome Joe!

I'm a double skip away (Wisconsin), but spent many, many summers in northern Ontario at relatives. This is a great place with diverse experiences! I look forward to seeing your posts in the gallery!
