Hi Guys & Gals,
I am a retired guy with a little time on my hands and a lot of interest in Photography.
I was trained by the Royal Navy in the early 1960s, and tend to be better at technical subjects, transport etc than Landscape or portraiture, I don't consider myself a brilliant photographer, but I get by. I achieved a Licentiate ship of the Royal Photographic Society in the early 80s, however matrimony curtailed the finances. I photographed Steam and vintage vehicle events for the Newspaper "The world's Fair" as a part time freelance for in excess of twenty years.

I have 35mm and medium format cameras but tend to use mainly digital currently, and putting my old negs and transparencies onto the computer. I am a "fan" of Ansel Adams. I am currently involved with the digitising of our Family photos for a distributable archive. ( some challenges.)

Interest include motoring, caravanning in the UK ,our three Shih Tzus, Family history (wife's and my own.) and transport photography.

Thanks for the words of welcome Guys.
I am going to disappoint some I think, very very few images of Trains/Railway steam, the bulk of my steam material is of road locomotives, in preservation.
Showmen's engines, Agricultural and just about anything else.
I guess there will be a few with similar interest.
