I want to know about the Super 8 reversal film. B&W? Color? ISO? Daylight or Tungsten balanced? Available in DS8 spools or bulk?

Good point Skip, I just started a dedicated thread re that Super8 film too....

I wonder if Mirko will comment or we will have to wait till the 18th (start of Photokina)...

Color Implosion is a modified color film featuring unexpected results but always bursting red and a very strong grain.
We have uploaded some sample images to our website.

The film is available at PHOTOKINA 2012.

Visit us in Hall 6.1, booth F26.

Interesting, I quite like redscale and other "odd" colour films, I'll certainly try this out.

I don't think that it's a "red scale" film, which is just normal color film loaded backwards. This looks like color film with curves biased towards red. I wouldn't call its results unexpected, though.

Brian,

this depends on your expertise and processing chain. For an expert the results might be predictable after the second roll.
What makes it most unpredictable is the color correction in the lab/scanner you will be using.
This software will be puzzled by the information it reads and crank in cyan or yellow or both making the color shift "unpredictable" to some extend.
Color Implosion is not really a product for serious apugers.
This will be something we call a "store item" (we operate a downtown Berlin store in a hipster area) like Holga or Lomo cameras.
The film is totally unique and everybody we gave it to for testing sofar was impressed.

Great to hear Mirko - Nothing better than different products for different kinds of consumers; a wonderful diversification strategy! Here in the States we say 'don't put all your eggs in one basket'.
Wish you all the best with your news products!

All of these new ADOX products are VERY cool! Are all of these new products being manufactured by InovisCoat?

That's an interesting looking film. Is it a negative film or reversal? If it's negative, does it have the orange mask or is it maskless?

By the way, nice photo of Alexanderplatz station with the Fernsehturm (I hope I spelled that right) in the background.

Edit - never mind, I see it's a negative film. Still, very interesting look. Not one I would use for every-day shots, but still interesting.
